The Women of Veronica's Voice need to be bitch slapped

My Dad has an important phrase that rings true and provides guidance and meaning for all of humanity. It goes like this:

"There is nothing worse than a reformed whore."

In Kansas City, whenever there is a story regarding hookers there is invariably an interview with a former prostitute who now volunteers at Veronica's Voice instead of making herself useful and accepting money for sex.

These women usually tell stories about the horrible a life of a prostitute and the many times their pimp, john or some other father substitute had to put a shoe (or broom handle) up their ass.

Mind you, I'm not trying to defend a local entrepreneur recently arrested and charged with pimpin' during a sting operation. The guy sounds like a bad dude even though almost everybody in town who heard of the story must have at least admired the guy for clearing up to 25k a week without having to pay his employees a dime. That kind of swindle is worthy of our local robber barons at H&R Bloch.

Anyway, what I find disgusting about former hookers now on a high horse (other than the fact that they still have hoop earrings and insanely stretched out vaginas) is that they act like hookers are victims. This is not true, at least it's very rarely true. The U.S. is not yet Bangladesh, there are plenty of ways to avoid selling your ass in this country but none of them are as fun as staying high on crack all the time and getting paid to keep your legs up in the air for 1 minute and 24 seconds at a time.

Hookers are not victims, very much like Paris Hilton they are also guilty of spreading disease and encouraging poor fashion choices.

At the very least pimps provide a valuable service and an influx of cash into the vital leopard fur and gold teeth industries. Whereas women who take money for sex (all of them) have yet to make a notable contribution to any human endeavor save house cleaning and constant complaining.
