Today, The Business Journal reports that Kansas City residents have poor satisfaction with city services compared with 21 area municipalities and 13 large regional cities, according to an audit released by City Auditor Mark Funkhouser.
And this is troubling for two reasons:
1.) JaxCo wants nearly a billion bucks (plus interest) not to improve your living conditions but to make sure that KC's billionaire sports team owners and millionaire athletes are well stocked with cigars and cognac.
b.) It's not like people in KC have very high standards if they are looking to Kay Barnes for satisfaction. Ewww. I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit after typing that . . . And that isn't half as gross as my pothole joke that involved Clay County Kay and Wayne Cauthen filling gaping holes together.
Good luck citizens of KC. I knew there were at least a couple of reasons (other than Black people) why so many have moved to the suburbs.
