Save Our Stadiums co-chairman Albert Riederer became one of five candidates challenging incumbent Henry Rizzo in the Democratic primary for the 2nd District at-large seat on the County Legislature.
You are now forced to decide between a felon and corporate crook of pretty much the same sort. When I wonder why people move to the cultural wasteland of Johnson County, I think this has to be part of the reason. Italian vs. Corporate feudalism advocate . . . In this race I'm sure everybody loses.
Additionally, this kind of news makes me wonder if all of those Iraqis who aren't really that hot about Democracy might have a point after all.

Henry vs. Albert is the best choice I've had since Dr. Phil vs. Full House reruns. I can see the campaign now...elect Albert and we will get a Final Four, Super Bowl, All-Star Game, Second coming of Christ, etc.
