A white woman fights back

This headline from The Star is actually a bit misleading:

Defiant mother, passer-by foil carjacking near gallery

If you go on to read the story, you'll discover that four dudes beat the shit out of this woman and her son before they got a little bit of cash and decided to go grab lunch at California Pizza Kitchen on The Plaza. Of course, the alleged assailants were quickly picked up because nobody with names like Marshon, Ronnelle and Alvino (read: Black guys) will get away with beating a white woman in broad daylight.

However, while I'm not a fan of 50 something white women, I also don't support muggers. So, you'll have to write this one up to an cross-cultural conflict and a reminder that not only is it better to stay in your own neighborhood but also rob your own people.
