This is Mark Forsythe, he's the latest candidate to run for City Council in the 4th District. His campaign promises include the standard fare from a person who has obviously never seen a briefcase full of small, untraceable bills from a local real estate developer.

Safe, Walkable, Transit-Accessible Neighborhoods. Responsible, Sustainable Growth and Development. Maintain and Improve Neighborhood Infrastructure. Encourage and Support Greater Involvement From Our Neighborhood Leaders.

The 4th District is really the last bastion of white folks in KC since the Latino vote (Westside, Westport and a bit of West Plaza) was the victim of gerrymandering thanks to the legacy of one of the most corrupt City Councils of all time in the early 90's. Put simply, the 4th District in KC is where all the action is because the monolithic Black vote has yet come to dominate (damn) and the bland issues of suburbia (Northland) are not yet a concern ("But we want a Starbucks too!"). You can stay up to date with Forsythe's campaign via his (vanilla) blog which doesn't contain one cussword or stolen photo of a hot ass blonde and therefore barely qualifies as a blog.

Anyway, this guy seems like a decent dude if you're into white guys. As for me, I tend to only pay attention to white men when they are handing over a check or their daughters.
