I don't know exactly how you measure this kind of "growth." How can you tell someone from Johnson County is more confident? Do they cut off people in traffic with greater speed? Are they molesting more baby sitters? Casual drug use is down? I know, consumer confidence in JoCo could be measured by all the precious things (cars, homes, jewelry, golf equipment) they collect to stave off death and the feeling of emptiness. Cool, but beer does the same thing.
