Far East

I love "Filegirl" Kristine's blog. She documents her recent trip to India with wonderful prose and beautiful pictures. Really, this post belongs in a travel journal.

Someday, I'd like to go to India. But then I think, if I want to visit a place that is underdeveloped, rampant with disease and full of brown people . . . I could just walk east of Troost.

Thats a pathetic thing to say about India. Sure as hell you haven't been there and hence talk nonsense. Well about the west. why would i want to go to a country that has nothing original about it, a country that has the maximum number of obese people in the world and teenage pregnancies and the highest rate of divorces and a dick head for a president.
that is prejudice in your face.
welcome to India.
There is more to this paradise than just Disease and whatever else you may want to think. About the Underdeveloped part of it, All iv figured is how ignorant you are about our country, we are one of the most developed Coutries in terms of education, Science and technology, and isn't that why 'American Companies are setting up their offices in INDIA??..
I was a little agitated after i read your post and thought i should write back..
you have very wrong perceptions of what India is as a country.. It a beautiful and diverse place. Each and every corner of India is different in terms of culture, religion, traditions, colors and languages... have you seen any other country like ours?
