Long live the King

Local blogger GJoe may not be hanging up his keyboard but he’s retiring his blog. What happens to a retired blog? Does it do beer commercials? Do retired blogs get in trouble years later after receiving a DWI or inappropriately flirting with women that are much too young? God forbid, can a retired blog put on weight?

I don’t know but what I do know is that I’ll miss the words of GJoe. His blog was the inspiration for this page. However, I don’t think this page will ever provide such captivating content. Where GJoe’s writing is smart and heartfelt, at my best, my words are snarky and offensive.

GJoe is the blogger that I’d like to be . . . In his final post, GJoe states that the quality of his blog was proportional to the instability in his life. Thankfully, everything is now running smoothly for GJoe but it makes me wonder if a cocaine binge and beating up a few strippers might generate some more traffic around this place. There is only one way to find out . . .
