The waiting is the hardest part

The Federal Transportation and Safety Board is investigating the wreck, but it will likely not release its findings for a year to 18 months, chief investigator Gary Van Etten said today at a press conference in Liberty.

"We want to have good accurate information no matter how long it takes," Van Etten said.

Good luck with that, the rest of us will be far too engrossed in KCTV5's 24 hour perv coverage to care much by that time.

They say that instant gratification makes you fat, lazy and probably dependent on some illegal substance . . . so I'm sure that very few of us will have the patience to pay much attention to the report on the Liberty bus crash when it finally arrives. Amazing video is the only thing most media watchers care about, no one but reporters will read the forthcoming analysis of the tragic event; unless it comes with a centerfold of a DD blonde.
